Upward Bound ProjectPurposeThe San Jose State University Upward Bound Project has provided over 30 years of high quality services to at-risk youth in the community. Oldest of the Federal TRIO Programs, Upward Bound provides opportunities for participants to succeed in high school and enter the college of their choice. Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families and families in which neither parent holds a bachelors degree.
