Why does the Program need your support?

Pre-College Programs is a non-profit organization that targets low-income first generation high school students. We rely on grants to run our program. Unfortunately, grants limit us as to what we can offer our students like nation wide college tours without fundraising and scholarships. 

Since the cost of tuition has increased in the state of California. We would like to help our students pay for at least their first year of college and we would like to provide this to all our graduating high school seniors.

Benefits

• Study after study show that students who participate in Pre-College Programs score higher on academic testing, are more likely to volunteer for leadership activities, and generally demonstrate higher levels of creative thinking and self-esteem.

• Since our program was established 92% of our students have pursued a higher education and 76% have graduated with a bachelor’s degree within six years.
